Event Details

Curious about what a 3D printer is? Stop by one of our MakerLabs, see it in action and ask one of our Makers in Residence questions about the process. She can show you how the basics of operating our MakerBot Replicator 2 and how to use the library's computers and free CAD software to design, modify or download a 3-D model for printing. Participants will progress through the labs at their own pace. Once you can demonstrate an independent understanding of the printing process, you're welcome to sign up to use our 3D printer anytime it's not in us

Space is limited. To participate in the MakerLab, you should be between 10-18 years old. If you want to use the 3D printer or the CAD software, please sign up in advance. If you cannot make it, please call the Youth Department at  603-352-0157 or cancel your reservation online.
