Edwin has performed for us at the 2021 and 2022 Keene Juneteenth Celebrations, and we are pleased to have him back with us again to amuse you with his stories of the African diaspora and to amaze you with his hip-hop skillz. Sing and even dance along as Edwin puts on a fantastic performance!
Edwin has been a mainstay in Burlington's music scene since 2001. As a hip-hop and Afrobeat artist, his music comprises shareable moments from his journey disseminated to audiences through meticulous attention to detail. He has performed with many talents, including national acts like Wyclef Jean.
Edwin was raised in the Bronx and currently lives in Burlington, Vt. Edwin is also a national champion, collegiate debater, and public speaker. Edwin teaches debate at the University of Vermont and the Art of Rap at Franklin Pierce University.
A Terrific Tuesday event occurs each Tuesday at 1 p.m. during our Summer Reading and Learning Program. A special event is designed for kids aged five and up each week. Younger children are welcome to attend with an adult.
