Many good people around the world are separated from their families\, against their will\, possibly for the rest of their lives.\n\nEleazar is from Manchester\, N.H. As a minor he came to the USA 20 years ago from Honduras\, fleeing poverty. He has three minor children who are US citizens\, but his own status remained undocumented. This summer\, he experienced a flat tire on the road in Deerfield. The police arrived\, which resulted in legal probing and now he is in a jail\, fighting deportation. Meanwhile\, his family is struggling in Manchester\, N.H.\, without a father\, husband and no means of income and support.\n\nThis incident with Eleazar has hit close to home. \;It has inspired Mohammad Saleh and his friends to organize this event in solidarity with the Ayala family and all who suffer these injustices. This event appeals to the shared humanity of all parents to contemplate the power we all possess to make an impact on social change. Show your willingness to give up something precious - time with your family on Thanksgiving Day. \;Parents are encouraged to bring children.\n\nSpeakers will include Dr. Dottie Morris and Dr. Lawrence Welkowitz from Keene State College.\n\nNormal library operation is closed on this day\, due to the holiday.
