Summer of Making: Toy Hacking Challenge

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Keene Public Library
Heberton Hall

Event Details

Toy hacking is a creative reverse engineering project. At this challenge you'll learn how something works by taking it apart - then remaking it. In the process you'll learn how circuits work, circuit bending, and more! This activity is designed for young Makers ages 8 through 12 and their families.

The Keene Public Library is proud to be one of the 34 Maker Corps Host Sites during the Summer of 2014. The Maker Corps program was created by the Maker Education Initiative as a Maker Corpsnational commitment to connect makers to community-serving institutions who need qualified and motivated people to expand their capabilities. The Maker Corps program is intended to expand the capabilities of local community education institutions to help them implement new maker-oriented activities.
