Staff from the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum bring hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations and of course, live animals! Using the laws of aerodynamics, staff and visitors will build paper airplanes and use human-sized wings to explain why human-sized wings don’t work. Finally we will free fly a live bird of prey and give everyone an up-close look at why birds are the masters of the air!
Terrific Tuesdays takes place each Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. during our summer reading program. Each week there is a different special event designed for kids that are approximately aged five and up. Younger children are welcome to attend with an adult.
