Event Details

The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas comes to life during this festive live theater performance perfect for children and adults. The production invites some audience participation.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the classic tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of the season, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. In this charming rendition, young people will learn about the class system of Victorian England and be encouraged to help others that are less fortunate than they are.

The Hampstead Stage is a nationally touring theater for young audiences based in New Hampshire. For thirty years, they have performed plays adapted from classic books. Two professional actors, along with the aid of lightning-quick costume changes bring all of the characters to life.
