Event Details

Drop by to tinker, explore, and build at the library! Come and build cool structures with straws! Strawbees are a fantastic toy for makers of all ages. The building toy is based on one simple plastic joint unit that lets you connect straws to each other. Build huge mechanical objects from standard straws! From towers to teepees,  it’s sure to be a fun afternoon of creative construction! Fun and appropriate for all ages!

The Keene Public Library is proud to be a 2016 Maker Corps Site. The Maker Corps program was created by the Maker Education Initiative as a national commitment to connect makers like me to community-serving institutions who need qualified and motivated people to expand their capabilities. The Maker Corps program is intended to expand the capabilities of local community education institutions to help them implement new maker-oriented activities.
